Lake Conroe Crappie fishing

Crappie fishing has been great lately. We have been catching alot fish on jigs. The fish are grouped up on brush piles in 12-18 ft of water. Some brush piles are holding more active fish than others and when you get on the right brush pile you can load the boat quickly with crappie.There is nothing like pulling up to a spot and catching 15 fish in less than 10 minutes, now that's fun. The crappie are starting to spread out some and it wont be much longer before this kind of action is hard to come by.
