Lake Conroe, Houstons Playground

Lake Conroe is a 20,118 acre paradise located one hour north of Houston.
With the water quality good, fairly clear and an average depth of 20.5 feet, and a maximum depth of 75 feet and few obstruction south of the 1097 bridge, Lake Conroe makes the perfect place to play. Lake Conroe has many things to offer to many different people from luxury yachts to pwc (jet skies), as well as many angling opportunities from Black bass to Catfish. Lake Conroe is surrounded by some prime real estate, its one of the wealthiest areas in Texas which gives the people that come to play a felling of being on vacation or at a resort. As a result during the summer on the weekends Lake Conroe is often crowded with boat traffic. With all the skiing, joy riding, sightseeing, and fishing being done the water can quickly get rough.
